Summary:

  • Maintain predictive analytics models for diagnosis and advance warning against equipment failure for assets across Oil and Gas facilities. Maintains digital models and provides alerts to facilities. Utilizes additional tools including vibration analysis to diagnose faults. Works with team of engineers and subject matter experts along with operations and maintenance representatives from operating facilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Oil & Gas or Power Generation facility (minimum 3 years’ experience)
  • Practical and technical knowledge of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, gas turbines, motors, steam turbines, generators) (minimum 3 years' experience)
  • Familiarity with SmartSignal or other advanced pattern recognition software preferred
  • Practical knowledge of SCADA systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient with OSI Soft PI Process Book or Vision for data analysis and trending
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose machinery issues with GE System1 preferred
  • Vibration Analyst Cat II certification preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications and documents relating to processing facilities and equipment
  • Capability to learn new software systems for data science and analytics
  • High attention to detail and problem solving ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment, including remote support for international locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing maintenance on compressors, pumps, gas turbines, motors, steam turbines, generators.
  • Building and rebuilding new models for deployment worldwide.
  • Training engineers to help build their product knowledge in Houston and worldwide.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnose machinery issues, reading and comprehending engineering drawings, specifications and documents.

Education:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Similar disciplines (Required)
