Infrastructure Support Administrator

Contract Opportunity

Location: Houston, TX (Locals only)

Duties and Responsibilities Overview:

  • Demonstrate in-depth working knowledge on how to implementing manage and monitor SSL/VPN environments (Juniper/Citrix NetScaler) under general direction. 
  • A strong knowledge of System Client Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration including implementation, testing, integration and sustainment of SCCM. 
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft (MS)Windows technology including Windows Server Operating Systems (OS), Windows Client OS, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • General knowledge of networking as it relates to access infrastructure, firewall rules, boundaries, with security focus.
  • Solid hands on experience working with Citrix Products including XenApp 6.5, XenDesktop 7.x & NetScaler. 
  • Ability to revise the functionality of systems by developing and modifying scripts. 
  • Hands on experience with Monitor Infrastructure queues for assignments along with project tasks with a broad area of responsibilities.
  • Candidate will need to collaborate with global team across different time zone, possess the ability and willingness to mentor, train and share knowledge.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • This candidate will need to participate and provide 24X7 rotating on call support. 
  • Must be a US Citizen in addition be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance.
  • Experience (2-4 years) using, deploying and managing SSL/VPN solutions (Juniper, NetScaler).
  • Experience (2-3 years) in application distribution using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012/2016
  • Experience (2-4 years) working with (MS) server 2016, 2012, Win10, Win7 & Active Directory (AD).
  • Working knowledge and understanding Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop & Other Citrix products.         
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop infrastructure (ex. VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or Nutanix).
  • Experience building servers and managing storage (VMware, Nimble, Pure).
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate DoD security clearance as necessary.
  • Strong technical writing skills to create documents associated with new processes for scripting applications.   
  • Candidate should be able to manage performance and availability across the enterprise.
  • Strong technical writing skills to create documents.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with Automation tools such as Automic and/or VMWare VRealize
  • Experience working with CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager.    
  • Experience working with ServiceNow
  • ITIL knowledge & some training
  • Working knowledge and understanding Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop & Other Citrix products
  • Microsoft certifications desired.         

Skills a Plus:

  • Working knowledge and experience using App-V, PowerShell 2.0+, VB Script, Admin Studio Suite & Wise
  • Experience in scripting complex applications similar to software related to Engineering systems.
